Uinta County Public Libraries Internet Access Policy Uinta County Public Libraries provide public access to the Internet in fulfilling our role of providing equal access to information and resources to meet the educational and recreational needs of the community. The Library has no control over the contents and information on the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. Children under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign a Parental Authorization Form before they will be allowed to access the Internet. Prohibited Uses: Violations of copyright law or software licenses, attempts to violate security measures, transmitting threatening, obscene or harassing materials, attempting to disrupt other users, computers or networks, use of personal diskettes or software, or viewing pornography are all prohibited uses of the Library's computers. Misrepresenting oneself to gain access to the Internet on a Library computer is not allowed. The use of the Internet at the Library is a privilege and violations of this policy will result in forfeiture of this privilege.
