How Do I ?
Library Card and Library Account:
If you have never had a library card at the Uinta County Library, you will need to have:
1. A picture I. D. (examples: a valid driver's license or a student I. D.)
2. Proof of your local mailing address (Show us something that has been delivered to you that has your mailing address printed on it. e.g. lease agreement, checkbook with printed address, any bill or bank statement delivered to your address, or even a magazine or catalog delivered to your address.)
Your first library card is free.
If you have had a library card at the Uinta County Library already,
and you've lost it or for some reason you need a new card, please let us know. All replacement cards are $3.00
I will be living here for less than 6 months.
How do I get a temporary library card?
If you're not going to be living here permanently,
and you need a temporary library card, you will need to have:
1. A picture I. D. (examples: a valid driver's license or a student I. D.)
2. Proof of your local mailing address. When you apply for a temporary card,
we will ask you to fill out a postcard with your current local address.
We will mail this to you and when you bring us the postcard
we will complete the temporary card for you.
3. Temporary cards are $20.00 per person. This fee is refundable, as long as you have no outstanding fees or unreturned books.

Anyone who wishes to use the Library is welcome. We do have some donated books that you may use without a card.
Ask at the Circulation Desk if you don't know where to find those. Also, if you don't have a card and wish to check books out,
